There are many ways to offer your time, skills, and experience to help a refugee/family settle into their new community, including (but not limited to):

• Provide occasional transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping, or similar
• Help transport donated furniture and household items (do you have a truck?)
• Assist with English language learning
• Assist with completing immigration paperwork
• Assist in identifying employment opportunities
• Help familiarize a refugee family with their new community
