Mission

The STAR (Support Transformation and Advancement for Refugees) Foundation is dedicated to helping refugees and other immigrants in New Castle County overcome the obstacles faced while resettling in the United States. STAR recognizes the many challenges that refugees and other immigrants encounter when navigating a new culture, language, and society. The Foundation is committed to advocating on their behalf and directing them to the resources and services they need to lead fulfilling lives, achieve their goals, become self-sufficient, and integrate into their new communities.

Our vision is to create a community where all refugees and immigrants can thrive and contribute to society without facing the barriers of language, culture, or societal integration. We aim to foster an environment of mutual respect, understanding, and support, ensuring that every individual has the opportunity to build a new life filled with hope and possibilities
